Our Mission

Founded in 2004, the Clark-Fox Family Foundation supports the growth and prosperity of the St. Louis metropolitan region through research, program development and investments in PK-12, higher education, public health, immigration, social justice and racial equity, community leadership, and entrepreneurship. The Foundation prioritizes programs and investments that empower the end user and leverage each other for broader access and greater impact for our children and community.

The Clark-Fox Family Foundation was founded in St. Louis in 2004 by husband and wife team Maxine Clark and Bob Fox. Building upon the successes of their entrepreneurial careers, Maxine and Bob created the Foundation to help continue their innovation into the social sector. The Foundation is a unique organization, one that focuses on research, program development and investments that empower the end user and leverage one another for broader access and greater impact for our children and community. The Foundation believes in bringing business acumen and a focus on the consumer into the non-profit sector, thinking about issues in a way others often don’t, and encouraging collaboration and innovation.
